Tools we use:

The Akamai Inspectors use GE Protimiter, Survey Master Pro Moisture meters around showers, tubs, and plumbing walls to test for excessive moisture in these areas, and any other area around the home that shows any indication of moisture stains, problems, etc. We also use laser thermometers to check temperatures at A/C ducts, ovens, hot water faucets, etc.

Customer Satisfaction
is #1 at Akamai:

"I have worked with Akamai Inspection for years. In many cases Tom and Scott have been more than willing to go the extra mile to get the job done for me. They are competent, thorough, and timely. Tom Sena has taught me a lot, and does a great job when he interacts with my Buyers. It’s very nice to work alongside people who have such a deep reservoir of experience and yet also exhibit such Aloha. I highly recommend Akamai Inspection."

Thermal Imaging Disclosure

Thermal Inspections for Residential and Commercial properties:

Speed and Accuracy. This is a non-intrusive method for inspecting building exterior and interior, walls, ceilings and other large surfaces quickly and precisely to locate areas of moisture intrusion, plumbing leaks, potential electrical problems and many other applications. This allows our inspectors an added visual verification to assist in a more accurate inspection of an issue. Also, this technology confirms our existing moisture meter equipment inspections and adds more clarity to the issues found. It is to be understood that Thermal Imaging measures apparent temperature differentials through the use of Thermal Imaging equipment, but does not see through walls. There is no guarantee that all issues will be found by Thermal Imaging and no warranty is provided for services rendered. All findings are the inspector’s opinions and should be further investigated by qualified contractors.

“If you can’t see it,
you can’t fix it.”
